US Ringers....? what do you think?

i can understand the thought that you pay money to play that you want a level playing field,you wanna play against players like you,stand a chance of winning
but whats the chances of any of you playing in a tournie against the best in the world
thats right hardly any of you so the chance to come up against lang marchello & so on & shoot the f$%kers (if you can) is great. sorry but im all for it
one of the highlights of my career was shooting rafe farmer (a top player of the day) taking out another player grabbing the flag & winning the game we did'nt win the tourny but i did'nt care

No disrespect intended, but I doubt they're really bothered about that - after all they are playing the CPL, are well established members of the team and as a team have worked their way up through the divisions to the top.

I respect them because (i'm my opinion) they've gone about things the right way, but i guess the world would be boring if everyone was the same

it really doesnt matter to me at the end of the day , despite they have played with them for a good number of years now , it still dusnt make my mind believe they wud be in CPL right now if they didnt have those 2

the teams i see as real teams are , not only the deserved pro teams like Joy/Nexus (Despite their ringer)/Menace etc, but the teams that earned promotion with themselves , teams like Vision,Icon,kellys that have done how it should be done in the 1st place

Kelly's had Americans playing for them last year and they lost their spot, so not always do the Americans make a difference.

You are entitled to your opinion about the Bullets, but I feel you are wrong. I know the guys well and have to say they are one of the most dedicated teams I have seen.

what i meant lwith the Kellys is when they were DIV1 (semi pro) they earned to be CPL without ringers (even without reffing points i believe), Kellys had a bust up and got desperate for players buts thats a different story plus adam gardner wasnt much a of a ringer in my eyes lol

I know Bullets get alot of BS about this subject and its not fair this is surrounding them it was more to do with the current SPL teams that have more than half of the squad are ringers and probably will get the promotion at end of the year over the teams without, i was using Bullets as an example to last year when they were SPL

I reckon that if they are going to play every event or 4 out of 5 then yeah they count as part of the team not ringers.

the other option might be to still keep everything locked but have a team that is made up of any Americans. Like the basketball team "Globe trotters" (best of the best). They could have a spot in the CPL where any of the Americans can come over and play together in the MS.

That's a good idea, but part of the problem you're trying to solve is making it financially viable for the American players to come over. If they were to form a best of the best team, you would have sponsorship clashes, as sponsorships are for whole teams, not individual players right?
