I plan on ether getting a Ion/PMR for cheapish or upgrade my trilogy cocker so it shoots 18bps or so. Need constructive criticism and help making my decision.

My concerns:
-What is the cheapest trigger frame I can buy that will get me shooting to survive intermediate play. (I know I could just shoot mech but its my decision)

-Do I definitely need a delrin bolt. Im worried my current aluminium stock one will funk up the gun at high speed.

Is £60 too low to expect a PMR ion to be sold at? There are two £60 quid PMRs in the bst atm and there was a 20 Ion from the us. but just checking the water so to speak.

im on a very tight budget, ie £0 at the moment. Planning to get an eggy 2nd hand here sometime in future as well

Don't bother upgrading, the frame will set you back a fortune, get a new marker and use the trilogy as a back up.

to upgrade a cocker to an eblade takes quite a bit of skill and patience.it would be best getting asecond hand ion or pmr, but also look at older top level markers in the classifieds, there are somebargainsand you can usually haggle (even if its just free postage)

Thanks for help!

Wow fast replys lol

Thanks for the advice, I'll look into PMRs if they are going at that price range.

Should i sell my current set up for upgrade money? or get some money back as i have no need for a back up. Its a 07 Autococker Trilogy Tactical, used twice 800 balls shot thru it. 3 hairline scratches. est price? 60 maybe? I did buy it in Jan for £106 :/

i started with a mech trilogy pro and now ive got an E orracle which i made peice by peice from the trillogy...

Any one will say cockers are a tinker's gun something you can endlessly fiddle with, But ruddy expensive... to get an e grip your looking at £100..

i didnt have enough money to buy a £250 second hand gun when i started so i put the cocker together bit by bit then just changed the body over. But looking at the money i spent i could have just got an ion and made it stupidly good..

but id never trade or sell my orracle ;)

i dont know what themarket is like for mechcockers atm, but im sureits not high. isuggestusing it untill you can afford to sell it i.e. when you can afford abetter marker. i used my pro+eclipsecocker untill late2005, but resale is a bitch.

I only wondered why ya want to shoot at 18bps? I presume a local tourny or something? I was going to trade a eblade but found it was not able to cap, so i wondered was the 18bps a must?
