Well?

I was in Scotland for a site meeting last week (as i am every week) and in this meeting there was some woman who obviously felt it must be more fun to cough over everyone in this meeting than stay at home with a hot water bottle and a box of lemsip...

Anyway, when i got back on Wednesday i felt crap, and have been running temps of 100 degrees plus, and feeling really sh*tty. I can handle it for a couple of days, but this is now a full week on and i still feel as babba as i did on the first day!

I feel pretty lousy, and it now looks like the missus and kids have got it too!

Apart from getting blathered on hot brandy (which hasnt worked but made me feel good!!) anyone recommend a good cure to speed up the recovery?! No old wives tales please (eg: silly things like sleep with a pair of sweaty socks on your pillow!!) but actual helpful tips/cures!

I have hardly left my house in 7 days and as peeps who know me will confirm, for someone who can easily drive 40k+ miles a year for my job, it's been very weird to be laid up like this!

Any help would be appreciated!

Taking some form of medication does help, brandy just numbs the pain -

I normaly dope myself with lempsip extra strong.
But best thing is quater glass of honey and squeeze two lemons into it, mix it till is nice and liquid. And then drink it

It works like a charm...

its the man flu, I had a rather exotic case of it last week and it still has not completely cleared.
it is actually true that men can be more succeptable to strains of virus, and that was in some womens magazine so surely not propaganda!
