Don't worry, your eyes don't decieve you, there are some changes afoot in p8ntballer land and as you can see already on the main page, there are a few more forums and names in red - so here's a run down of what's going on
Spliting out forums
OK, we don't want to get into having 101 sub forums, but we think there's also a problem at the moment where good threads are lost amongst some not so relevant ones, so we've taken some steps to sort things out.
Split the Techroom out.
P8ntballer should be a resource for people to get help and advice and having only one forum with the amount of traffic we have been getting means things get lost. So we've just taken some basic sub dividing and splitting it out
Sort out ACQ & SYB
ACQ particularly was getting a mess, so by moving all the "I need a lift, can someone remind X about my paint" into a dedicated contacts forum means people can keep ACQ a lot cleaner and more relevant. We'll also soon have a sticky with all the websites and phone number of the major companies/leagues/shops in the UK/Europe as a one stop shop for info.
Forum specific mods
We can't all be everywhere at once and so it's time to get some fresh blood on board. Rather than having us mods that can go anywhere we're creating dedicated forum mods that'll take charge of their area and get it whipped into shape. We've chosen people based om merit and their input into the forums so far. Plus, to me it's like having bobbies on the beat, the more of us there are the less crap that'll get through to ruin the experience for everyone else.
So, the new mods are:
Dark Warrior - Newbies / Rec
Lump - classifieds
Ollytheosteo - Tech
Dskize - SYB
Tom Allen - Tech
Dusty - A&Q plus C
There are others to follow too

This isn't the last of it and we're going to try out a few things that'll hopefully keep recognising the fact that this is the best forum in paintball and also giving something back. So don't think this is the last of it
