Ok firstly abit of background information The Chernobyl Children Life Line ( Reg Charity No 1014274 Telephone No 01428 642 523) was established to help enrich the lives of Children that live in the aftermath of the Chernobyl fall out. What they do is help bring children from the Chernobyl area to the Uk to spend 4 weeks over the summer months, these 4 week out of the nuclear fall out can help increase there lifespan for upto 2 years.
All proceeds are used to pay for the flights to bring them over from Russia which are £300 per child as well as a whole host of other things. More information can be found here http://www.ccll.org.uk/
This specific auction is to raise money for four children who have been let down by a host family who were due to fund their return trip. One child was even meant to be here for Christmas, but due to circumstances not to do with the child, was not able to come.
There are new host families for the children, they have been told they are coming, but their flights need to be paid for. If you would like to help fund these children without even bidding, please contact James and he will forward your money to the link group.
