Xbox 360 or PS3?

Xbox 360 Elite, by far the best games console to hit the market today.

(Xbox in general) For £40 a year (Thats nothing really) you are able to talk to your friends even family (I do with my uncle that lives in America) for an unlimited ammount of time any day you wish. Video chat if you want, play 95% of all games out on the 360 with anyone because there all online compatible. It is now even cross-compatible, so you can play with people on the PC.

It's all about being online now and no one does it better than the guys that created it, Microsoft.

The PS3 is basicaly a pregnant PS2 with about as many games released for it as a packet of Skittles. The quality of the games are poor even though it is "suposed" to be better quality than the 360 (Ever tried playing Fear, then going in the Xbox to play Halo, yea I thought so )... I beg to differ in tha quality.

Anyway theres my 2 pence worth

the only thing stopping the PS3 is the lack of games and poor online support.
if they managed to put in decent lobbies etc for games, or just a way to simply invite in friends, it would be so much easier.

they've made the ps3 too good for anybody to be able to program games for it easily, GTA4 has apparently been ready for release for 360 for a while, but they cant quite finish up the PS3 version so it's been held back.

if they ever manage to release GT5 and MGS4, you'll see PS3 finally take off. it's outselling 360 by a way at the moment, and im sure did all throughout 2007, but thats more for the fact its a mega cheap blu ray player which happens to play a bunch of mediocre games.

still, i'll keep rocking out on Guitar Hero on mine, the lack of releases may help me pass uni!

PS3 anyday, yeah xbox has a larger online community at the moment, because they did do the right thing with online gaming when they bought out the first xbox, so it allready had followers, and sonys online gaming with the ps2 wasnt all that good to be honest, but, you know with sony they always seem to make good eventually, and they did this time with the PS3, its my personal prefrence out of the 2 or 3 if you include the wii. The wii is for 'fun' and kids, the xbox and the ps3 can be used for fun and serious gamers.

Like I said in a recent other thread, gimme 5 solid reasons why the PS3 is better than the 360. I just dont see it myself.
