yep exactly that. so that bit is staying in the asa and not spining while the other bit atached to it does spin.

Do you have a strap wrench? If so, try gripping the part of the reg closest to the ASA as tightly as possible, holding it still and turning the marker anti-clockwise to unscrew.

If it is anything like a maxflo ( im not saying it is ), there should be little screws too tighten the two sections together. Hope it helps.

actualy yeh there is one grub screw, but im gonna leave it for now as i cant risk my bottle blowing up. i ll leave it till next training.
