Tis the weekend and we need gaming whizz

The game is by a young chap called Pedro Amorin, who has just finished studying in Portugal and his final thesis is a Paintball Sim.
Tis only a basic sim, but it looks like fun.

It's supposed to be able to be played over the net, but can't work that bit out cos it just ain't my fortay

Just downloaded, pretty basic but nice all the same. Perhaps someone could set up a server sometime and we can have a few p8ntballer games, maybe if a few more people downloaded it.... Anyone?

the online doesnt work me thinks.

Well i still exploring this but in the program files folder for the game click on it

eg C:\Program Files\Xtreme Paintball v0.9\paint\GameSave

then click on the configuration.txt and you will see the options and some are for local area network or interent! I have tried a game and this doesn't seem to work but may be able to help someone else sort it out.

the settings I used in my configuration.txt file (this didn't work but i did try it with dex) :

Updates,2
Reliability,1
Mouse,15

Explanations
Updates (0 - 16):
0 or 1 for LAN play
2 to 4 for Internet play
Every higher value causes a bit bigger "lag".

Reliability (0 - 1):
0 for LAN
1 for Internet (when problems occure better use 0)

Mouse (~10 - ~35):
Defines the mouse speed, negative values invert both mouse directions.
