Getting Mates Into Paintball..

hey all,

I just wanted to know if anyone else has found it so bl00dy hard to get their mates to start or even think about staring balling.

Ive spent the last 2 years at least trying to get just 4 other people to make a Woodball or Sup'Air (im not worryed, both are fun.) Team, but everytime i get anywhere near one of them will pull out taking all the rest with them :|

now i have completely given up on the idea, and have started going to walk-on's and now (if i can get there and back) Tornys by myself (Woo! Loner!) lol

just wondered if anyone else has had this?

i used to play walk ons with about 5 mates but started sup air with only 1, wouldnt be playing now if noone wanted to make the change with me. He managed to get breakawayBP to join in a year that i took out

yep same with me,
i gave up and made loads of m8s already in paintball

My mates think its 'girlie paintball' hiding behing inflatable bunkers.

And others think its not paintball at all beacuse your not running round the woods shooting anything that moves and $hitting yourself in case you get shot ...

Smart mates

Yes it is hard to get people interested, especially when they think they have to pay site prices for a box of paint, and when they think to play properly you have to get a marker that cost £500+

Also hard when they're interested in airsoft more because it's apparently cheaper to start playing

if someone wants to play they will .....ive figured out, its that simple.....!


you can coax them with your birthday party request to be a paintball day and get them that way

It aint difficult, just tell them that they get to use guns and they always seem up for it then

Price and having to drive more than 10-15 minutes always puts my mates off.
