The British economy is down big time, and high street business at its low.
With the price of oil going up at an alarming rate, and it does'nt look like its going to come down very soon, the domino effect has hit business's badly.

Companies like ProCaps/Draxxus and KAS, probably with many other big paintball companies to follow suit if not already done so, has announced they will be increasing prices this month.

Over the past 2 seasons , the number of players/teams entering home ground tourneys has already slowly dropped. How badly do you think it will affect our game in the UK ?

Prices only ever go up on commodity groups look at oil for example it may drop in one week of a month but will rise in the other 3 weeks and look at year on year figures.

I shoot a lot of shotgun at the moment and cartridge prices are going up all the time due to lead prices

Most blame china for buying up all the resources but lead dropped in price last month and did the saving reach the end user??? NOPE!!!!

It will make a difference being a oil based product, paint manufactures who havent raised their prices, will more than likley do it this year.

I would expect this more on site paint rather than tournie ball because of the smaller mark up on site stuff

Smaller mark up on site paint ? are you pissed.

They pay the lowest for paint in the first place.

If any thing it will hit the tournament market first.

People worry to much about things to much (me being one of them), yeah prices are going up like mad but it's not going to effect out sport is it, what you can get a box of paint for £18 so things can't be that bad. and for the guy who started this thread prices arn't making people quit the sport, if anything prices on paintball kit is getting cheaper. Mayby the sport is just loosing popularity.

just a thought.
