Just lately there have been a plethora (look it up
) of for sale threads asking to P.M. offers.
Got a few m8's looking for markers and doubtless there are other newbies or just regular players upgrading.
My agg with this is that by not putting a ball park figure these people don't know where to start when bidding through fear of upsetting sellers or worse paying over the odds.
Us regulars know roughly what they're worth and roughly what we'd pay,but what do u tell a newbie who's looking for a marker..guesstimate(not a real word btw) the approx value for certain years and add a bit for specials..
IMHO these threads limit the interest and thus limit the potential market,it's as if there's hope that someone may offer over the odds when in fact it's having a detremental effect...
