reason i asked is if your playing woods i would say a tipman. They have sooooo many up's and they rule the woods but your right most gats do great in both

Can I recommend an etek ego.

I got one recently as my first marker and it is very easy to maintain (I am terrible with anything technological but even I can understand it), you can get a very good quality manual on the web, it shoots fast and accurate.

Should be able to pick up a 2nd hand on on here for about £200 to £220.

lookin at prices id love to get one under £100 but im happy to go up to around the £200mark (id have it if it was 202 but not 275, you know what i mean)

checked out sum of those sites already, but i think the best way forward is to get sum gun time in.

If you are thinking about running around in the woods then why not have a look at the SP-1. I personally don't like smart parts but the SP-1 should do you well.

mask is the most important bit of kit

DO NOT SKIMP - buy v-force profilers, jt proflex, dye invisions or events. all high quality masks and will protect you very well.

loader i would suggest a reloader or halo b

and for an air tank, get a carbon fibre wrapped bottle, dye throttles are very nice.

people are saying that the pmr and ions are not much different but they are. I am not knocking the ions because i like them but it is a bit primative compared to the matrix guns. I feel that shooting the two guns one after each other the pmr is a better gun, i also have taken them both apart and the board that you get on the pmr is much better than the ion. next time you go up the field ask around the "own gunners" if you can have a go normally they will be sound about it and tell you about it but the PMR is the best gun on the market at the moment for the money!!!

woah! i aint got that much!

i want a decent mask yea but i aint got £50 odd quid to spare just for helmet, i barely got £30, same goes for air tank. i just need one i can use for now, i can buy the dogs boloks when i can afford it.

idealy whole lot under £200, so i just want to know WHAT i need cos its gonna be cheep and cheerfull.

dude you will be lucky to get it under 200, however, www.bzpaintball.co.uk sell air bottles 3000psi for 40 pounds.... dont use co2 its dirty and will destroy, after so long, most electronic markers. if your looking for a mask. look around in the for sale section on these forums u can pick up V-force profilers for around 20 quid, i use profilers. for a hopper seen as your on a tight budget i would got for a egg2 or 3 i also own a egg but will be getting a halo b very soon.

be careful!! take it easy u dont want to burn yourself out like many people do.
oh yeah, i own a ion and love it like i said but go for the pmr its WAY better for the money. dye owns
