05 rammer cap destruction

ok
tried to remove my rammer cap yesterday
turned allen key
ripped it to bits

ive tried glueing an allen key in but its pretty suck and it just spins in the hole

anyway is there another way to get this out?

and if i have to send it to planet to get it drilled out what kind of price will i be looking at

did the same to my etek.. took it to planet.. they fixed it and replaced it for free

Problems like this are normally sorted free of charge by the lovelly people at Planet, you just need to get the marker to them with a covering note to explain the problem.

They will need to charge you only for the return shipping.

Find a normal slotted screwdriver that you can bang into the hole tight.
Then put gun between leg etc, grip screwdriver with hands or Mole Grips and turn.

I have just successfully fixed my Boiler. I was told I needed a new fan...nope..I needed to clean the gunge out of the suction hole...I stepped up, sucked that hole, gunged in my mouth...I took it like a man.

Then I rammed and allen key in the hole and raked it out proper.

Thats £150 plus VAT plus Fitting I have saved myself.
