I thought it was a excellent event, Only complaint I have is that the Team area was too hard on that carpark, I would of prefered something more like belgium;)

Hope everyone had an excellent time?

My first Milleniums in a Foreign country and I must say it was pretty good.

The only major let down was the reffing on certain fields. But heck whats done is done if this is spotted by the big wigs and something happens about it fair enough if not ... then c'est la vie.

The staging area was cool having single pits for teams as that meant you could know where all your gear was at the end of the day etc ....

Setup was brilliant the stands were close to the fields and easy to spot.

The Eclipse field was a bit of a let down and a shock it was on grass.

More signage would of helped also as there were alot of people (Joe blogs) asking where it was taking place and it was on the doorstep of the park and not many people even realised it.

But overall it was pretty cool.

Highlight of the tournament: Paddy kicking Pikey's ass:p

Like PortoX and CJ said, few bad calls on the fields but atleast we won the ruggers. A one-4-one when you only have 4 players takes out half the team

Enjoyed the event very much, great being actually where it was supposed to be and not miles away. A little more signage around the place would have been nice to get some more spectators in but if a full season of events was as good as this one then there would be alot of happy ballers

Our first Millenium Event this season, 3rd time playing Disney overall and I have to say the worst of the 3.

Plus Points:
1. Location
2. Weather
3. Excellent Trade Show
4. Good Reffing (except on the Saturday were the Refs on the Tomahawk Field were a bit over-zealous with the 1-4-1's ===2 Games, 4 1-4=1's and none for anything major e.g hits on the pack etc)

Neg Points:
1. Game Schedule - wtf is that all about? 6 Games on the Friday and 2 on the Saturday, if you were unlucky enough to lose all your games on the Friday it was hardly worth turning up on the Saturday and then if you did there was at least a 2 Hour wait between the games! Nuts!
2. Layout - a bit of a long walk from the Gate to the Players area and again a long walk if you needed to purchase anything, importantly = Food= which was positioned as far away from the Players area as it could have been!
3. The Xtra-turf was absolutely ****e! It kept lifting at the joins and some parts were in need of being dumped. Twice I ended up sliding on the tarmac underneath so France has certainly had its pound of flesh from me!
4. Atmosphere - In our opinion there was none. Friday afternoon in the Players area was abs dead! (and I suspect this was the same for Friday morning) Teams were scattered about the Staging area and as I say no atmosphere at all, no music, nothing! Saturday was a bit better with all the M5 Teams but even then it was not a patch on all the previous Milleniums we have attended.
5. HOW FOOKING EXPENSIVE IS FRANCE!!! One round of drinks at the Hurricane Niteclub, a total of 7 Drinks cost €81.00, €81.00 for 7 Drinks!! and most other places were not that much cheaper!

Big question, was it worth it? No because the event itself, in our opinion, was not much to talk about and it was expensive.

yes I also would like to mention M5's waiting times were appauling.

We had on the saturday a 6 and a half hour wait between games as sunday overlapped on the saturday (I know this is due to over booking teams). But to get yourself hyped up kitted up etc ... just for 1 (yes i said 1) game is ridiculous.

Thanks

Tom

Many thanks to Disruption for their support at our tight Bullets games. Nice speech too. :D
We made it first time to the podium. Of course we loved this event! ;)

But it was really the best this year, even better than Nurburg Ring.
Congrats to all team in the finals! Joy FTW!

See you next year!

No big deal. Training the hole year with FC (the most I think ;)), battling in the german 1.Bundesliga (1st league) and hanging out with these dudes nearly every 2nd weekend doesn´t make anyone takin´it personal I think.

They earned the win and I´m sorry that they "just" reached 4th, little bit unlucky.

Game against the bullets was one of the best I´ve seen the hole year! Even by ending with a 141 in the last 90 sec. $hit happens :(

After Belgium this event seems to be the best this year, but nuerburgring was my personal favourite. Both been nearly perfect and worth to be part in the ms!

CPL Finals all have been ultra-exciting I´ve heard and it´s nice to watch parts of them on youtube - what a battling :D

Overall I´m really happy to have the MS and I think they´ll even do better next year.

Bet you all be there again ;) (and hope!)

P.S: @Flo: pls translate your trip-review, think 90% of the teams will sign it like your german version an laugh there hearts out!

Cheers,
Lex

Nice to hear that! Was a bit shocked when it all went off. Main thing is that you lot are all happy and had a beer at the end...made up and kissed!

Love,
