For Joy it's a very tough call to make and they've got balls to make it.
I hope their sponsors have got balls as well.
You don't think they discussed this with thier sponsors first. When was the last time WDP didn't back Joy up, or vice versa?

the reality of this is that joy were cheated out of their superior expertice on more than one occasion, and i hate to say it but that seems to me to be stereotypical of the yanks......(and thats a shame as im sure its a minority) or you 'could' ask the question how much money changed hands to force the outcome?????

"conspiracy theory" starts to spring to mind, either way joy made the right decision........ whats the use playing a rigged league!!!

WDP will back them all the way, there's no point sponsoring a team to play an event that will have the refs biased against them. All this just shows how 'sporting' some of the yanks truly are. its been said, but ill agree, fair do's to Joy for taking a stand and throwing it in their faces. why play an event where you'll have bad calls thrown at you to prevent you winning it? there isnt much else they can do. they'll find home in another series, and they'll win it.

Good luck Joy Division.

Reading between the lines here possibly but here goes anyway...

If Joy are dropping out of the nppl i'm sure there is more to it than bad calls. They are the largest known WDP sponsored team in the US (I think only pro NPPL team now?). This alone would hold a lot of weight with WDP for them staying in the league, unless that is there is more to it than meets the eye.

After rumours flying round of a new series/the end of the NPPL is this yet something else pointing towards a new US based series, and Joy fueling the way for a split from the NPPL of other pro teams (possibly Ironmen as guessed at previously)?

Don't get me wrong, even if there is another agenda to them leaving the main fact remains that reffing this year has been poor to say the least and the NPPL just seem happy to merrily roll on without addressing any of the raised issues, for more teams than just Joy as well I would add after watching most of the broadcast nppl events.

Thoughts?

...trust me..they will bat more than an eyelid...a lot more.
you really think? after everything you've been through? after what joy have been through? Perhaps you have more faith than me :)

Mag - you and the boys are true sportsmen. Its a shame it has come to this. Keep rising above it.
