XSV Vlocity Problem

I seem to have an issue with my vlocity.

Works fine on mode 1 and stops feeding when it should.

Now I understand that in force modes that the motor 'pulses' which you can hear every second or so which I confirmed with someone elses hopper.

For some reason it makes a constant screaching noise and will reverse every so often as if there is a jam?

Pulled it apart and checked that the raceway was clean as well as the eyes themselves but this did not help the situation. Also tried some new batterys.

I suspect I may be looking for a new board

Im no expert but it does sound like the programming has gone a little bit awry on the board

I like to have the off the break speed that the tension mode provides

I will drop him a note to see if he can source one that I can purchase.

The other four settings are all force settings and give the same 'squirrel on death bed' screach.


*I would like to make it clear that I am more than happy with my winnings and this is purely a thread posted with the view to get the thing working again. Things go down from time to time and I have no issue or gripe with JB*

wow... it has more than one setting!!! I just play with the things lol I must have it on setting one all the time.hahaha

Hope you get it sorted and i can get a new board for you from the US as i have some stuff be sent over to me. But that will be a few weeks...
