I believe it's essentially a custom milled PM7 and that the board has better eye logic than the standard PM7.

If youre considering getting a dm7, i would just get that evil minion or a
pm7 doesnt really matter as the internals are exactly the same anyway, then just put an ultralite frame on it. More or less the exact same marker then. Try before you buy anyway

re

cheers guys just had a closer look at one of the pics and it has proto grips on it so that confirms that, I think it will be the dm6 or 7 depending on the 07 going rate around november time :)

We had one on our team and although i decided i didn't want to like it, i soon found that i loved it.
It's fairly compact in size, reliable and well made. Servicing is simply draw the bolt out the back, lube it and replace it. job done.
Performance wise it's up there with the best of them, and will happily shoot ropes all day long.
If i had to be picky and criticise it, then it's simply just the trigger is pants. It's easy to walk up to speed but is plastic and doesn't "feel" good.
A petty observation but an honest one!
As to whether this is the best gun for the money it's up to you, but what you do get is something that's just a little more exclusive and different:cool:

ALL aftermarket parts that'd fit a pm7 (and I'm guessin a dm7 too) will fit this, only difference between that and a dm7 is the body is milled different and different barrel.

Webby's got one of these (the 06 model), pm him if you've got any questions, surprised he hasnt posted yet lol. I do warn you though, he'll probably try and sell you his minion... which he'll do for a very reasonable price...

Anyway, get one if you like the milling, if not get a pm7 - that simple!

Yup yup I've got an 06 minion, was in the market for a new gun, liked the PM6 but wanted something a little different so picked up the Minion as I liked the looks.

The trigger does feel a little funny but it's still easy to shoot 15+bps, and when you're playing with ramping it doesn't really matter anyways.

The gun is compact, relatively light (as light if not lighter than the PM6) and pretty easy to clean and look after. The major selling point for a DM/PM marker is that they have almost zero recoil meaning your barrel will not rise while shooting at a high ROF.

It is esentially a PM6 (or PM7 in your case) with different milling. If you like the PM7, you will like the Minion, it just depends on which milling you like best.
