At the end of the day, all a tech course gives you is a certificate to say you can do the basics.

You learn far more by owning a marker and having to maintain / fault find yourself.

i will say one thing, dont try be a tech, unless you can tech. Dont go taking your marker to peice's, because you'll more than probaly feck it up. if it aint broke dont try and fix it. (this does not stand for cleaning and maintaining your marker)
