mort if u believe what this government is tellin u, then give up ball and seek some help. governments have been inflating figures for eternity. its how they keep ppl like u and me in line. so yes in a way i do believe they are "picked from thin air"
i think we may be off track a little.
as another direction, if ball becomes big in eastern europe and ballers there are only payin the equivalent of 50 for a marker (this is an example) how happy will we all be??
this is just a conversation and by no means am i tryin to give an 1 disrespect be they american, brit or eastern european.

You could say that about anything though. To eat McDonalds twice a day every day costs more than going to a restraunt once a week.

If in doubt, flat out!

Wakefield, West Yorks.
A decent set off clubs costs a lot more than a top of the range tournament iron. Add driver, gear, membership etc etc and it's way more.
True and not so true.

Clubs and gear, you could get very decent make stuff for very good prices (probo every thing for £1000, mizuno, callaway or nike Irons and simaler Woods) but i will agree with you on the memberships... but i wouldnt pay a membership not for prices they charge, just pay and play different course's.

You're an idiot, obsessed with conspiracy theory and "the man" keeping us in control, grow up.

I will be very happy if someone in Eastern Europe can buy a gat for 50euros, as I will still be earning a wage relative to prices over here and won't have to rely on 25p pints and skanky hookers to fund my countries tourism trade.

Anyway, I'm going to duck out now, this is like banging my head on a brick wall, only less constructive.

Your the idiot dude, if you actually believe those figures truly reflect the uk average wage

It was an independant company, taking wage figures of 1% of UK workers from different areas and industries, so they clearly reflect an average wage. London wages tend to push it up, but wages in poorer areas balance it out. I don't see how you can argue with the figures.

Well actually, you can argue with anything because you're a pr!ck, but as a general rule...

Edit: I really can't believe people find it so hard to accept that figure as an average wage, it's not THAT much ffs?!
