Everybody starts somewhere guys. I reffed my first tourny, woodsball when I was just 17 and I'm almost 33:eek: Now look at me, receding slightly grey hairline, pot belly, 5 nagging kids, marriage on the rocks, heavily tattooed and a bad case of farmers that would put a vineyard to shame!!! Only joking kids. I love reffing, especially when a sh!t storm is kicking up because it really tests you as a ref to see if you can hack the pressure to make a call, the right one of course, when it's going off all around and you have got 2 teams of adrenaline overdosed ballers trying to "kick" the crap out of each other.

Personally I have reffed in the States 4 times for PSP (including 2 World Cup finals), Madrid for the Millenium, Malaysia 2004 Nations Cup and waaay too many domestic events to remember. We need more refs in this country and there are quite a few good refs in this country. The biggie is as Russ has stated, getting a national database of refs together. It can only be a good thing so let's get some genuine numbers together.
