If you don't have an F-Stamp on your marker than I wouldn't. There have been instances of markers being confiscated and the users being charged with possesion of illegal arms - that's exactly what happened to one polish team traveling to a tournament in Amsterdam if I recall correctly. They had several markers confiscated and only got back one or two of them, have been charged and when they arrived at the tournament had to borrow equipment from a lot of people.

What is a f-stamp, and how do you get one then ? I went Canada and back with 2 markers and a bottle and had no problems.

its a small petnagonal marking, with an F in the middle
means "not a firearm" basically

its only for Germany, other countries it isnt required

Incidentally, most newer SP markers have them on already I beleive.

It's not ridiculous, it's a happy by-product of being in the European Union.
Or would you rather a half to three hour addition to any journey you make outside of the UK?
