It's not that big a loss mate, festival hookups are crap.
Several days without running water + no clean clothes + muddy conditions + extreme intoxication, you don't need that.
Great way to pick up crabs though.

Killswitch did well for saying everyone was dieing by the time they came on. I have seen them before and enjoyed it alot more but they did well ... weren't quiet Machine Head though.
Also Linkin Park was flawless best headliner on the Main Stage! Seems as though I had seen Maiden Before this year it was virtually the same.
Korn were the best headliners of all - no mention of joey jordison on drums mind rather odd.
Nah or else i would of probably jumped Lump and got a Mass BOOO YOUR A TW@! towards Mikey.

to be honest i think my chemical romance only got to headline because they wanted loads of ticket sales. Slayer should have headlined instead of them.
There is no excuse for letting MCR headline any gig. Ever. At Reading 2 years ago me and a couple of mates had a gap in the schedule of bands we wanted to see so ended up going to watch them for a laugh. It wasn't even funny. I felt sorry for everyone involved.
Slayer didn't perform that well due to Machine Head being before and everyone being well and truly Fcuked
MCR was a headliner so that it would appeal to a new audience simple as that really - so many younger kids there this year, which means that the festival will continue onwards. Hopefully they learnt real music whilst they were there and appreciate Download is strictly Metal Music.

ska ftw - though metal is good, been listening to **** loads recently
leeds is turing into ska kingdom in the radio one tent, even more ska than last year
