"After seeing a lot of threads over the internet it came apparent that if it was stock class (Explanation of Stock Class is here: http://www.stockclasspaintball.com/faq.shtml ) teams playing on ESPN events that more people would watch. Now before you judge it hear me out.

1) Less paint in the air means more movement which means it happens faster which means people can see much faster games which would in turn be more interesting.

2) Because there is less paint in the air you can show the shots easier and where people were shot can become more apparent so its easier to follow along.

3) It would as a by product show Paintball going faster and easier to watch so you can see the lanes moves and shots much easier with out the constant interruption of hundreds of paintballs firing.

What do you think?"

I agree 100%. The roots which start crazes are what sometimes keep them held high. If you are uncertain, please view the following videos. There is movement and tension that you wouldn't get in an average speedball tourney. There also are dedicated Pump teams all across America.

(NSA FTW!)

There has been a sudden increase in the amount of people on here talking about and buying Pumps, which is awesome!

So, what do you think?

Was it when you asked if you could have a go with a pump for a game or two at Christmas chill?

If so, sure you can.

now im a pritty bg fan of pump markers...ive got a rather nice sniper2 in my office at work BUT im afraid that was the most boreing 20 mins of paintball ive watched in ages...all muggings no real play and ive never seen so much blatent playing on/spinning in such a short video, even a couple of blatant wipes in there too.
find a vid of a good pump team playing vrs semis then your talking a good watch with some skilled snap shooting
with that in mind if there were 4 or 5 like minded idiots i would be up for putting a pump team in the masters maybe

The thread is about Pump play being showed on TV, and aimed at non-players. Muggings and movement are more exciting than laneing etc, to the non-player. Where as the experienced player might see more with the regular tourneys.
The vids were to show how fast paced Pump play is. The vid was made for a short watch, not an en-depth trial about Pump play. The wipers etc were shown deliberately and the author of the videos put them in deliberately

if you showed that to none players they wouldnt have the slightest clue what was going on at all, it doesnt show pump paintball as anything other than a load of drive bys and cheating!

the best vid ive watched in ages was filmed from a gun cam during the first round of the pa xball.....watching it from one players (guns) point of view and the short space of time the point take to play makes for far better viewing and far easier to make sence of whats going on
