Getting Started Kit?

Afternoon all,

Wondering if you could help a newbie get up and running.

I am looking for the following kit:

Marker and air system
Hopper
Mask + fans (wear glasses and anti fog is never effective enough)
Gloves
Battle pack w/ at least 4 pots
Trousers
Kitbag

Overall budget is about £500 split £300 for marker+air+hopper and £200 for the rest.

Unfortunately I think I kind of fall in between cheap kits and expensive kits – looking to play at least fortnightly.

Any advice for what I should get or who is doing good packages would be much appreciated.

What you looking to play, Sup air or woodsball?

Would imagine a bit of both - eventually want to get to tournament level - but will upgrade kit before then.

Most sites seem to be predominantly wood based (better money maker than sup) so that kind of dictates the choice for me.

Where abouts you located?

If you want to buy kit now and eventually play sup air, dont buy twice its a waste of money.

For £500 you will be able to get a good setup from the classifieds section here.

Id advise you towards an ION. You will see alot of flaming going on here but ignore it, try it and it will be perfect for you starting out.

Based in Sleaford about an hour drive east of Nottingham.

Not too fussed about buying again as it will mean I have a spare marker if I get good enough for tournaments.

Not sure how to phrase this without making it sound like a "look at me" reply but I could afford pretty much any gun on the market but I would rather get a moderate priced one to see how I fair before investing some serious money.

If you have money to burn buy a Hybrid shocker.

If you want to buy a gun that will see you well in your introduction to sup air, buy an ion

If you a good gun for your entrance to tourney ball but would like to spend a bit more money then, look at second hand egos and dm's
