Before I even seen the video I knew it was going to be on that field.

The referees were a disgrace on that field - I got a few 1-4-1's on that...one of which was a stain on my pack...not a hit a stain. He did it after we had shot out all of the other team...I was in the snake and he was watching me he entire game so he clearly would of seen if I had got hit. French Refs for you.

Wait let me get this straight you had a elimination turned 1-4-1 ,2-4-1,3-4-1,4-4-1 for a barrel sock left at the start gate???? If this is the case i hope they never let that fool step on a field much less try and ref one.All the years i tried to show how reffing was done and this stuff still happens.Jeez well that was 5 years wasted away Well glad you didnt let it get ya down hopefully youll have better luck next event.

Also interested to know that, anyone ? Surprised nobody mentioned anything after the game, I wouldn't of been impressed.

The others told me there were either 6 or 7 after the penalties and three remained when the game was over...to be honest the biggest dig of this is knowing the game probably would of went the other way...i hate losing and when it happens like this its frustrating!!! I swear to god if 6 of em cant beat the canadian hurling snowballs...imagine what 7 fiery devils would of done to them!!!!

This ref should burn in the fiery pits of hell..as for the rest of the marshals i felt most were up to scratch, but 1 bad ref is too many and brings down the standard of the others.

ps. this is the same ref who pulled a 6-4-1 on us in toulouse for "not touching the start gate".

Having never played in a Millenium event not sure what their stance on this would be.

I sometimes have an extra barrel sock in my pocket, as I sometimes find it hard to get my sock in there at the beggining of games with gloves on etc.

If this was the case in this situation and you pointed it out to the nearest marshall, think it would of made a difference?

Strange question I realise but was curious, I suppose it comes down to what they see?

I think it would ultimately depend on how anal that marshall is mate... Technically, you are infringing the rule of not leaving it in the start gate, regardless if you have 30 in ur pocket... so i guess its down (wrongly i would argue) to the individual

its been said before... but this is the problem with rules... the grey area! a lot is down to personal interpretation
