i dont see what difference they would make. they r made more for protection rather then shots bouncing. i believe that they sit tight to ur body also so it wouldnt offer any baggyness unlike the jersey which im sure would be sittin loose over the top of it. a good safe idea in my opinion.

I don't know how thick they are but it would probly get you some bounces. I get loads of my eclipse armpads (and no its not just reballing :p )

well i was looking at one on saturday - looks quite soft - not only does it make you look buff but i think you would get quite a few bounces

I wear one and I love it , you will get the added occasional bounce that you maybe wouldn't of got otherwise , but they are available for everybody ,and too rule against them would be pretty stupid I think plus maybe not the brightest market research from Proto (although you could still train with it I suppose, but what would be the point).They do add a level of protection which is appreciated and the idea that we should not wear things that stop us getting hurt more is patently ridiculous. I know we have to have sensible limits so no Mitchellin men on the feild but i think these fall in to an acceptable level.
