Finally it has been announced on the MS website - A brand new location for the Millennium UK Event - the town of Basildon!

The dates are 20th to 22nd of JULY and they are confirmed.

Not on the website but for those not in the know...

Basildon is located just SE of London in Essex. It is easy to reach via the main motorway network (15 mins from M25).

Gatwick Airport is about 45 minutes away, Heathrow just over an hour and Stanstead even closer. Dover is about 1.5 hours for those using the ferries.

There are some other special attractions that are being planned in conjunction with Basildon District Council and they will be announced soon.

And the best thing it's my home town!!!

Congrats Spike, from what i saw when i was in basildon, the stadium is fantastic.

Hmmm - and there was me thinking Essex was NORTH of the River Thames (which runs West->East directly through the centre of London) not south :p

They actually chose Bas Vegas as the venue (Bas Vegas is a local nickname by the way). It's gonna be a hell of a commute for us Essex guys- especially Spike!

Oh and Spike - check your atlas!!
