iv had my ion for about 6 months roughly approx lol its been fine since iv got it hasnt been over used well looked after and cleaned apart from the reg...iv just put a new on/off on my marker and today when i tried to use it it wouldnt work properly-it had air coming through the marker, ball were feeding through my hopper bolt was working but the air didnt seem to be high enough as it was just pushing ball after ball down barrel and bunging up.
i then stripped the ion down cleaned and lubed the bolt, changed batteries, air was good (usual) but it wouldnt work!
Im trying to clean the reg atm but am having some altercations...my first marker and it wouldnt free from the frame...have now got that done though and am now stuck at the fact that i need a 9/16" deep well socket and rachet to undo thethe spring platform or whatever to release the spring so need to go and buy one.

other than cleaning it all out and checking O rigs does anyone know what is the matter...had it happen to them before

please please please do not tell me i need to spend money and that its serious etc coz ill be done paintballing for a while without it and dont have money to replace atm

Any help appretiated guys because got training next week and quite possibly 5 man week after

Have you cleaned out all the hoses and the solenoid?

Paint to barrel match is horribly wrong perhaps?
Unscrew your barrel and try and put one of the same paintballs you used into it, and then try and blow it out.
If you can blow it out, its the gun
If you have to go seriously red/blue in the face, or it just wont go through, its the paint or barrel.

iv used that paint up until now all the time nearly, with a few changes but its all ways been fine the air wasnt strong enough through the marker to propell the balls? not the barrel and paint match mate thanks though.

Whats the pressure gauge reading and have you screwed the bottle on far enough?

its an eclipse purge on/off, yes the bottle was on fine, the on/off isnt anything to do with it even though i thought that aswel i changed back and tried but no change...iv had 2 team mates look at the marker to try and suss what might be the problem ...both nothing and another experienced player and nothing. Hopefully its just a partially clogged/dirty reg but wont find out until i can get hold of the socket n rachet to open the rest of the reg up and clean it. Its annoying me so much and puzzling everyone else...could it be to do with any change in temp or anything, wet anything like that at all?

well, if the bolt is moving smoothley, as in dry fire and it sounds good, and ur detents are good as are ur eyes, then maybe one of the seals isnt seated right?

Try jumping the dwell up a bit.
Mine was doing exactly the same yesterday, bumped it up another 2 and now its fine.

what do you mean by jumping up the dwell a bit lol kinda new dont know alot about the internals or anything with markers i just know how to basically strip to bolt lol
