Yeah the guys lucky he's still moving.
It is interesting to note though, I can buy a paintball gun, go out and start firing off some paint with out anyone pointing out any safety conventions at all, and lets face it we all know lots of people are dumb.
As has been said earlier, at least if some one sees this and it reminds them to wear a mask it will have done some good

I had a close call at bricketwood one time (watford)! i went out to fire a few shots through my gun, and while i was standing there firing it off i got hit in the lense from one of the punters in the speedball area, so it was lucky i had my mask!

Im sorry but i saw that the other day but i thought it was fake.

1st, wheres the paint
2nd, watch his thumb looking for the trigger
3rd, watch his face close before he shoots, he tenses up and shuts his eyes hard, suggestive of the fact he knew the gun was going to fire
4th, we do not see any damage or paint on his hands

If it is real then flame me, and i humbly apologise to everyone, and kid you have my deepest sympathies.

The only comment worth mentioning on the actual site the video is hosted on is that it does look slightly fake, no visible paint or anything and the fact that he isnt dead or at least on the floor knocked out. Still the point that this video shows about needing a mask is valid if its fake or not.

Edit-Bugger beaten to it.

yer i find that even in safe zones when your sorting your gear, balls still fly over netting and ive seen it go through, but luckily and now much power.
And playing at reading in the nspl we was standing waiting to play our next game outside or the game area with my mask resting on my head. when i heard a bang and realised there was a paintball that had hit smack bang in the middle of my lense and broke which was actually centimetres away from my eyes

im with TendringLOEB here. I have seen someone look down the barrel of a gun, only for it to go off, it pretty much knocked him out (it hit above his eye), and left an absolutely massive bump.

Still its not a nice video, but it doesnt seem like the most realistic thing i have ever seen ...

Makes no difference if it is faked or not, could easily have been his mate he shot in the face, or some random punter, and the scary thing is it only takes a second's lapse of awareness.

If we are honest, who here has shot themselves in the foot or leg in the past?
