Hey,

well my gauge on my bottle has been fuggered for a few months, so i think it is about time i tried to fix it.

I dont really want to send it off to PMI just for this, Now what i'm wanting to know is how to go about changing it, is it simply remove the Old one (de-gased DDDUURRR) and replace it with a new one.

If its really a pain in the arse, im just going to get a New CP reg to save on hassle and postage to PMI

thanks for any help and pointers

Yes, de-gas and remove the gauge, then replace with a new one. A little bit of loctite on the thread of the gauge when assembling, and and leave overnite to cure.

would the Plumbers tape stuff be ok? that's what seems to be on it now, as i dont have any loctite, and no where near me sells it.
