No matter how carefully I play I always get shot and I can't seem to hide no matter if I stay in one spot or change spots after alittle while. Someone help me.

buy dynasty's dysected dvd. very useful. + funny
practice snap shooting and shooting with different hands. try not to lead with your elbow either - keep it as tucked in under the tank as you can - but not so much so that it impairs your shooting speed.
keep aware of both sides - dont get to focused, as you will get splatted by someone you havnt been watching.

Ever considered changing your playing position, you need to keep a look out were there shooting from aswell, its all about training , if you get shot, figure out why, were u looking out to often, leaning to fare out, your ass too big? u know ask yourself why and then next time change ur personal tactics.....

Ion is a advanced marker at only 150 new and there are alot of upped second hand one's going on here...
second hand markers are your best bet, but dont forget the new epiphany is coming out from smartparts so the ion will most likely drop in price.. (hopefully)

or save up for a proto rail. £250 and no upgrades needed - ions need loads of upgrades even if you choose not too at first. the proto rail is a high end electro marker for the price of that of a low end one - there is a review of it at www.talkpaintball.com/showthread.php?t=12110 -
yeah but, the proto rail is beautiful compared to the ion. you will no doubt eventually want to trade in your ion. i suppose its a matter of personal opinion, i would go for the proto over the ion even if its £100 more. meh try loads of different markers before you make a decision.

Ok thanks for the help everyone I'll take a look at the sites everyone posted and try to figure out why I keepgetting shot.
Where do you get shot? The same sort of places (Head, gat,hopper, left or right shoulder etc)
There could be lots of reasons why you continually get shot. A good tip is if you play mid or front, get your back player to note how you stand/crouch etc behind the bunker and see if you "leave" bits hanging out of the bunker.
The best way to check how you play is to have someone off field critique your game.......worked for me......just make sure they like you....
