On Saturday 14th October Northern Quarter invites you to take part in our next newbie day
These days are designed to give new paintball players the opportunity to experience super air and also to practice their skills in a dedicated and controlled environment. Rec ballers also find these days useful if they are looking to take the step up to Tournament Paintball.
Northern Quarter now has two full field set ups which allows us to really make the most of your time and allow you to learn as much as possible. Players will be there to give helpful advice and teach you the skills you will need to learn to become a valuable player. If you have any question at any point or wish to try something specific please let us know and we will do our best to help you achieve your goals. We don’t bite!
In the morning we will have a run through with you on kit that you will require for the day, obviously safety being the most important issue. There will also be a safety briefing before we head out to play.
Firstly after some essential warm ups, we will go through the absolute basics. We will run through drills with you to begin with such as Snap shooting , bunkering, Laning, Running and shooting, Sliding into bunkers and other drills to improve your accuracy and speed. These are all skills that you will need to improve your game.
After a lunch break we tend to play some games so you can put into practice the skills you have learnt. Again, players will be on hand to give you help and advice to hopefully correct any bad habits you may have!
Later in the day you can decide what to do. We can either take small groups away who want to practice specific or more advanced drills or you can simply play games for the rest of the day. It really is your choice.
To help you along the way, Northern Quarter can also provide you with full kit so you need not worry if you do not have everything you need. Kit hire is a mere £5. Please let us know in advance as this is not stored on site.
We can also provide paint at £25 per case of 2000 but again please let us know in advance how much you require. You can also bring your own if you wish.
As you may all know, Northern Quarter is now the official Eclipse ETEK demo center for the UK. This means that we have ETEK markers onsite for you to use. Please let us know if you wish to use one before hand as numbers are limited. Get in quick and try one of these ripping machines!
The green fee for the day is £15
