Multiple Accounts

Is it just me, or does there seem to be allot of peeps around with multiple accounts on the forums at the mo?

Some seem to be used for scamming eg:
Ash22, AndyC14, etc
Pooboyx, Revel etc.

But others seem to just be annoying like:
WGP4Life, Mokie, Lando etc, etc

Just a thought but maybe it should be a forum rule only one account per person, with offends who are caught having a permanent ip address ban if they're caught. Might make life abit more difficult for the scammers out there if the rest of us only have one user name to look out for.
I just don't see any valid reason for someone who behaves themselves to need multiple accounts............ Rant over, i feel better

this is my 2nd account, my 1st hasnt been used for about half a year... i didnt realise you could request a name-change... other than that reason, i don't see the point of having multiple active accounts-othere than to scam...

Other people use anonymous screen names not so much to scam but to say things that can't be sourced to them.
They can have pops at people and say things they would never have the balls to say otherwise and hide behind these pseudonyms like little girls.

I like the idea of one person / one user name but I'm afraid it's unenforceable as things stand.

oh, yeah. i get you. Say for example someone who works for a company, and is quite well known, may have an account may want to say stuff that would just sound biased towards thier own company, but they'd rather people didnt know they were associated with said company? i can understand that, not so much a 'little girl' though. they'd have reasons for it.

I was more on about (and i think beanbag and Dark Stranger were to...) the people that have no real reason to have two accounts! im may be wrong though! its just an opinion.
