Copy right on screen names?

Some friends and I had a business idea (its PB related), basically it involves making a clothing line - noting major, just like T shirts, beanies, headbands etc - with various slogans incorporating "WGP4Life" written on it. Nothing offensive, ie, nothing that would upset either Worr Games Products or WPG4Life himself...

I was just wondering what the laws regarding copyright etc were on this kind of thing?

user's name i would think are ok, but company names or logo's would be a no no i guess

it would all depend on how big you got really... generally, large companies dont care much for taking little ones to court; but if you started getting well known and gave them a bad name, or didn't mention what you were doing to them in the first place; then they would have good reason to be slightly pissed about it hope that helps somewhat

think it depends on whether they're trademarked etc

otherwise i think you're allowed to use the name as it is a reference - but not trademarked images or logos etc

feel free to correct if i'm wrong

well if magic is offering the forum members the chance to put there own user name on some paintball clothing, why the hell not, if he where to take orders for such things as bandana's or beanies etc etc, i would be up for having my name put on some..

I hadnt actually thought of that J@mes... but thats not a bad idea...

Kinda like my plan to make custom T shirts for people with their Myspace URL on the back of it... Emo kids will buy anything I tell you
