Annoing barrel backs & frm

The removal of the Old Anno takes away more meat than teh new one puts back...so...barrels end up a gnats cock larger in diameter.

Which is why you shouldnt anno a gun multiple times, because teh tolerences change and it may not work propperly.

Sloth did mine as well...sorted.

And...Aluminium does rust.

Rusting is a type of burning actually, in which an Oxide forms...Aluminium oxidizes almost instantly on contact with air, which is why annodising workes so well and gives a dureable "under the skin" finish, and yet Splash was more difficult, because the part has to be in the air to do the splash anno finish before the oxide layer forms and closes the pores up.

With it removing the old anno, that explains the larger bore.

Ally does not rust....!!

As you say it oxidises, which is a different animal.;)

Rust, as you well know, is a ferrous based oxidisation.

To say it's rust on ally, is like saying chicken is the same as beef.

:p :p :p :D ;)
