Reason I Left

To All XSV fans,
I want to start off with saying I am sorry for what I had to do. I left the team for many reasons. First there was the financial reasons, the backers of the team were not coming through with there end of the deal and I saw no resolution to the situation. I hold no one person responsible for that I think that both sides were trying to get the best for themselves. Another reason that I made the choice I did is that the people I felt the most comfortable with had left the team, JR, Rusty, Glen. Also I decided to leave after I heard that some remaining players were shopping themselves to other teams so I decide to go where I felt the most comfortable. I feel like I went home I am surrounded by people that enjoy having me around and I enjoy being around, people might not like my decision but I feel that it was for the best. XSV is a great team and they have great players like Nicky, Dave and Neil. They have brought two up and coming players Bobby and Scott, they are from the NXL youth but I know that Rich will get them wiped into shape ASAP. So I concluded with I feel like I made the right choice.

First, I'd like to thank both JR and Davey on behalf of our gossip whores for taking a minute to post your perceptions of the current situation. Thanks for stopping by.
Second, I'd like to remind the same gossip whores (and really I'm no better) that while it's cool and fun and entertaining to get an "inside" look at the goings on in big time paintball none of the players owe anybody an explanation.
Third, if y'all behave yourselves and pretend to be civilized we might get more guys like Davey and JR to stop by and chat every now and again when things aren't in crisis mode.

Well,
As you all heard, I left XSV this weekend in order to look out for my best interests. Basically I was promised things to come over from Avalanche this year and although it was a hard descision I left a lot of my friends who I came up thru the ranks with. With that said, I was not given anything I was promised this year and have been playing on the team for only a few reasons, and that was some friends I had made when joining the team and the fact that I wanted to win.

I tried to reconcile some of my issues with the team before the event and was planning on finishing out the year, I am not one to leave mid year, but some more issues arose and I just could not stay on the team any longer. I thought things could have easily been solved had the team not been so greedy when it only affected a few people, not the whole. So yes, the timing sucked, I am sorry for leaving when I did but if you knew the whole details of my situation then I am sure you would have done the same. I plan on writing an artice real soon unveiling everything.

So thank you all who have supported me, some of you are going to hate me some will say goodluck and it was a good idea. In my eyes I got completely screwed over this year but I learned a lot. I learned more about certain people, the grass is not greener on the other side, money is the root of all evils, people are 2 faced and true friends will always be there for you, and bascially how to stand up for myself. So thank you too all of our supporters and sponsors throughout the season.

I will be finishing out the NPPL season with the OC Bushwackers, a team full of talent and just a few things away from being a very good team. I am happy to be on the team and thank them for accepting me last minute. As for the PSP, I want a little bit to think about it, too much stuff went on this weekend but in due time I will let you guys know.

I am off to Slovakia now to play in the Centurio league and then doing a clinic, check often on my site to see what I am up to.

Thanks again everyone

Glenn posted the above on PBN. Sounds like many of the team were struggling with the same issues.

And just to add one more nugget of clarity to proceedings, I just got off the phone from Rich so this ain't no tittle tattle gossip, he told me all he is concentrating on is ending up this year as the world's number one ranked team.
And to that end, he is gonna make damned sure that over the next 6 weeks, XSV will be training hard to achieve just that.

I won't begin to pretend I know all the details that surround this implosion but it seems to be a combination of broken promises and overal player disatisfaction.
Rich may be professional but he ain't the sort of man who breaks his word to a friend and so maybe time will tell all ..... we'll have to wait and see.

Someone said something about Dave Bains going to a new team for the last event. I don't believe that is possible with how they locked the rosters after San Diego. If he wants to play the event I'm under the impression he has to play with XSV. Same goes for everyone else: if you're on a roster for San Diego, that's the only team you can play for in LA. I'm talking about Pro players, I don't know if this concerns any other divisions.

XSV is a great team. They were the first to topple Dynasty's hold of the top spot on the podium on a regular basis and they did it with a strict regimen and lots and lots of hard work and practice. I'm sorry to see them have problems of this magnitude.
Hopefully Rich will get all this sorted out and we will be seeing XSV among the big winners again in '07.
