everyone has one they are plastic and had one and the trigger snapped off when it got shot
1) They aren't plastic
2) The stock trigger isn't the best in the world, but it doesn't snap unless you're doing something wrong

And Paont, providing the eyes are working fine it doesn't need to be maintained in a tourney because it doesn't chop.

The body shell is plastic, this makes it cheaper to produce and also easier to clean. The main workings are Alu. I don't see how it's a bas thing that they have plastic body shells. If you want to pay £1000 for a marker just because it has custom milling then go for it.

The stock trigger isn't 'that' bad, but for £20 you can buy a CP trigger which is just as good as any other metal trigger ?

The ION IS open bolt, the bolt is in the open position when it's 'at rest'.

everyone has one
Surly that shows that they are good value for money ?

horrible guns yes they can fire fast and are pretty light

but
1 -feel awful in your hand
2-look rancid

if function over form is your thing get one
but if you want your gun to have some nice looks stear clear
