Hello,

I am a noob to this sport. Ive played 1 Game in div3 (destiny silver) at the UK masters in lincoln. We won the game against "unique" never having played paintball before I shot out 2 of their back players and 1 at break (start) and I think im going to get into it. Unfortunatly I have to leave for training in winchester (for the army) which is going to last 14 weeks so im not going to be around until January, I wantt o start playing in Tournys and Walk ons so i priced up an ION with an electric hopper, JT masks packs and the basics Came to around £255 shipped fom the USA.

I was just wondering if it is worth it as a first gun becuase i dont want to be splashing out lots of money as i will need it for a car.

Oh and is anyone going to the Walkon This sunday near Manchester Airport?

Thanks Sam

First gun ions are the way to go cheap and you cant beat em there up there with the high end markers unbelieveable value for money and very upgradeable but sounds like you did pretty good only playing one game  Good luck mate

is there a air tank in that ion package from the USA ? if there is you`ll find its a DOT standard bottle and no where in this country will fill it, unless you own your own fill station ie; dive tank
hope this helps

I'll be at the newbie day and i'll be lovin it!

Also yeah, Ions are great markers, never had one, but all the posative feedback is just irrefutable. (no idea if that's right)
