BPS - the ultimate in BS ?

I've been looking through some threads (and classifieds) and have to smile when you see all the comments about "my XXXX does 25 bps" or "my YYYYY does 30 bps"

one question - How can you really tell ??

How many people have loaded an exact number of balls into a hopper and timed how long it take to shoot them all?

All of the eclipse markers apart from the etek have either LCD or LED displays with a ROF counter on it, thats how a lot of people find out. Oh and also the big red chronographs have a bps option on them as well as an fps readout.

****ing hundreds of people ...they do it all the time , seriously....bps counters are bollocks they usually count the fastest time between 2 trigger pulls and display that as the bps ..thats not consistent. try the average bps setting on the ego you'll notice a large difference ..only way to really tell is to use a PACT chrono and count the shots ....theres a video somewhere of dynasty doing this with an angry board i think and even they could only get 22 bps (i think, ill find the vid) only angels will go faster than this with paint as far as im concerned, watch there promotion videos for the fly and 05 a certain well known board member shooting at astonishing speeds ..dont listen to the ****e in classifeds its all bollox and mega annoying.

QFT - and unless you are looking at playing backyard ball - then you'll never need more than 15bps - and you'll only get that with 'assistance'.

And remember - it only takes one shot to eliminate someone .
