AJ Lawhead has retired from paintball.

Although my time with Chicago Aftershock has been tumultuous at times, this career has given me the opportunity to travel all over the country and meet so many people that I never would have otherwise.
It's been such an honor to wear Chicago Aftershock across my chest and compete against the best players in the world for nearly a decade now, but unfortunately the time has come for me to step away from the game and move onto a new chapter in life. Thank you to everyone that has supported me over the years. I wish the best of luck to everyone on Shock moving forward.
