When you aren't doing anything around the house just practice switching hands over and over! I always struggle to remember to keep my elbow tucked away when shooting with my left. With time it will all start to feel more natural, I'm not sure anyone picks up paintball for the first time and can just shoot with both hands perfectly!
any tips on increasing walking speed? my left fingers seem to actually go faster than my right and am right handed :S maybe because am a pc gamer and use my left hand to tap the left click when needed

Also, don't try and go fast. Focus on keeping it smooth and gradually work on picking the pace up.
At the end of the day though, there's no real advantage to being able to walk the trigger really fast anyway. Tournaments you'll always either be using ramping or occasionally semi capped to about 10bps, and if it's ramping you don't need to sustain a high trigger rate, and even if you're not that quick sustaining 10bps on semi is pretty easy anyway.
It all comes down to practice. As Matthew has suggested just practise swapping a lot and youll eventually get used to it . being smooth is the key. Too fast and you wont be as accurate or you will be too distracted trying to go fast that you forget something else !
I never switch hands. My left arm isn't strong enough to support the gun/tank for long periods. I still manage to make myself a small target, is this ok or should I really focus on trying to switch hands? I've just started going to training sessions and no-one has told me yet that I need to start switching.
You NEED to learn. You can blag it a bit in the woods, but tourny play needs some level of ambidextrous ability. I think I've said it on this thread before, but I found the best thing was to spend a whole day playing left handed only, made it instantly familiar.
Playing whole days leftie helps, and it's been said here before but making sure that you run every drill both right handed and then left handed.
It's also something you can practice at home in front of the TV, and can use that time to strengthen your arm too by holding your marker one handed, posted up.
