Appreciate the clarification Dusty. I thought it was something like that, as Ive gone toe to toe with Robbo on a couple of subjects (something about space and physics or someother subject) and found them intelligent debates.
Didnt know if the "didnt like" was a simplified way of writing what you've explained, or if things had changed.
Just didnt want the tb groupies taking that as a defensive standpoint to then say "tb bans you if he doesnt like you, how is this different".

tb bans you if you ask ANY kind of question, or he THINKS you've said something elsewhere, or someone tells him you're up to something. tb also says a lot online which he later deletes.

the groupies have tried all sorts to detract from Pete's credibility and failed every time.

As for morphman, when he arrived at this forum, he was a big poster, immediately wanted to set up a team and have fun. He is from my area, so I offered help and advice, offered a days training for his new team, and asked if they wanted a team forum set up on here. Quite quickly, he left this forum, set up his own forum (which he has now left) and did his own thing, I think, after meeting TB or attending one of his events.

As for Robbo just banning people, this is not true. Part of our remit as moderators is to tell Pete he is over reacting or has something wrong, or has taken something the wrong way. We don't often do this, but we have done on plenty of occasions. None of us like banning anyone, as much as we joke about using the ban stick, I personally don't like using it, and only really wop it out if someone is a grade A pr1ck, or is being a bully.

We are just normal people like you all are. We get to pull people up on spelling mistakes, and stop others being tw@ts.

Just before there is any potential of this going the wrong way, (as I know I have a habit of putting my foot in it), I was in no way comparing TB to Robbo.
I am well aware that any potential negativity, assumed or actual, towards TB results in a ban hammer and attempted public humiliation.

(Thats what I have to say to not get banned, right? ;) )

Here's a rare insight for you. The first 5 pages of banned users going back to August 24th of this year.

I'm sure if you look closely enough, you'll be able to spot that it's predominantly spam bots with the odd dual account or whatever thrown in. I ban about 3-5 spam bots per day.

I've been a member on here a while, and I've seen people come & go. I was even a mod for a short time.

The thing is, I mean well, but sometimes I'm a stupid c**t. But I haven't been banned, and I've made some pretty bad posts on here.

Then again, I've made one or two decent ones. I think I've been treated fairly by the mods.

Jon, you are the only person to have been made a mod, then almost banned whilst a mod, and demoted, and are still here :)

Nah we understand that everyone has different stuff going on in their lives, and you were having a bad time of it at that time. No need to ban you, you are a great bloke, but you understand you couldn't be a moderator any more.

Its all good mate.
