I am under the impression that Gino has persuaded Tom Cole that it would be better for all concerned if snoreline had nothing to do with the UWL anymore.
I seriously hope that's the case, after how great Warped's 10man was on Sunday I am fully intending on playing woodland tournaments next year and the UWL format does appeal.
I ain't running anything thanks Shorty, I like my restful weekends as they are.
As for the UWL?
A friend of mine from the US owns it, Tommy Cole, I've had a couple of phone conversations with him reference barnett but that was before barnett had screwed Gino out of 60 grand.
The landscape has changed somewhat ...When I talked to Tommy earlier on this year, I told him all about barnett and what he's been up to and said what I say to all people who associate with barnett or plan to associate with him, I just said, 'you'll be screwed eventually' ....
Tommy is one of the good guys in our sport and so I think he wanted to find out for himself but the whole affair with Gino will have influenced proceedings I think.
Gino is an extremely powerful individual and he's known Tommy from back in the day like the rest of us ... if anybody can put pressure on Tommy, then it's Gino.
I also know that Gino definitely doesn't want barnett having any control or involvement with the UWL ... I'd tend to think, it's just a matter of time.
I'll ask Gino this afternoon and if he tells me and it's OK to post, then I will ... I think the timing would be great seeing as barnett has seen fit to announce his intentions on FB that Pete [Onasliverbike] posted earlier ... the timing would be exquisite .
