Scorpions Milano beat Firm 4-3 and take the series win as well. They'll be in the CPL next year as will Firm

Congrats to both teams. As a life long Joy fan it's good to see most of them back playing in a pro league. Also I think...is means three British teams in the CPL?

Someone better at math than me will need to double check.

Let's see. I think it's Tigers with 4 points, Nexus with 8, Vision with 12, GK with 16, Amsterdam with 24.

Nexus had 12 points over Vision and 24 over Amsterdam Heat, so I think they squeak in, and stay in the CPL by 4 points.

Yep, your maths is right!

CPL will look like this;

16th - Vision - 48
15th - A-Heat - 52
14th - Nexus - 56
13th - Tigers - 72

With Vision and Heat obviously going down, despite a very valiant last ditch effort from Heat.

To highlight how close it was, if Heat had won 1 more point, and Nexus scored 1 less, Heat would be staying and Nexus would be going down.

Super excited to see 3 Brit teams in the CPL.

They brought up something pretty interesting on the webcast when talking about Lucky 15's and how well they're doing and moving to SPL1. Why don't Tigers/Nexus/Firm, look to the British teams in SPL1/2 to help fill roster spots. Or maybe they do?

I think there's going to need to be a bit of a rebuilding or mixing things up in the Tigers and Nexus camps to do better next year.

Maybe PE can hook Tigers up, with Carl Markowski and ARod!

Or Nexus could swoop in for Tok Hamil and Bradon Cornell (or dust off the way back machine and get Shaner)

I appreciate the fact that homegrown talent lead most teams to the CPL, maybe 1-2 guys that are from the Pro teams in the states can help be mentors to the local guys and help them out, and lend a hand on the field as well.

Nexus have brought up a few players in the past couple of seasons from the lower divisions, along with founding their own sister teams to encourage and develop talent. I doubt there is much cash in the Dye coffers to fly in the Ironmen, and if it does exist, Commin' At Ya will get it first

It's. no secret that a lot of the reason Tigers gained their CPL promotion that year is that the squad was heavily made up from the core of the defunct Shockwave. It's also no secret that they have more advances from overseas players than they do UK ones for the CPL roster, Being a largely self funded than they don't have the budget to give overseas players an easy ride.

Firm have had good contacts with Vicious and more recently Infamous through their sponsors to bolster their roster for MS events.

Lucky 15s are a tight family which has lost few players to other teams, they would far rather stick together and earn promotions than flit off and seek instant gratification elsewhere.
