Possibly true but again personal issues should not interfere with the perception of there products or services to new or long term players then the forum looses it's medium

And with regard to the shop then things have changed the last I remembers people had the posts edited when mentioned

Bob you're assuming this is a democracy. It ain't.

Think of it like visiting someone's home, you'll respect and live with their rules and their quirks or you simply won't visit. Whether you agree with this forums policies or not is irrelevant to be honest, they're not going to change because you want them to. I don't mean that to sound rude by the way.

OK. I've bitten.

That is one of the major accusations you've levelled at Tim, deletion or "censoring" of comments that the forum/page owner do not agree with.

I fail to see how your selection/deletion of what you do and don't agree with differs in any way with what Gadget and yourself have accused Tim of?

I would also add that although UK Scenario is not the forum it once was, we NEVER banned anyone for slagging off tim or his events. This has been pointed out before and I would appreciate it if this was not suggested again as I take it as a personal affront.

There's plenty of places to engage with Tim, The Paintball community and GFH are 2 that spring to mind straight away. He doesn't always respond well to criticism but that may be something to do with the fact that there have been so many nutjobs, proper mentalists, that have tried to veil their weird stalking campaigns in "legitimate criticism".

And as for what Tim has done for UK Paintball? More than you will ever know.

Never once mentioned UKS, as you well know the mods there and I have a great relationship especially when it comes to cross communications. Facebook though, are you going to tell me he doesn't block and ban people for being critical?

As for what he has done, whatever you want to believe, UK paintball will continue with or without him, or you, or me.

I did engage and the answer I got was , crap banter, yawn, later or something to that effect. Mature.

You mentioned other forums. That leaves 2. UKS or TalkPB. Don't wriggle.

I never said he doesn't ban people or block them but when you receive the amount of vile abuse he receives (way more than is deserved for any normal level of complaint in relation to a paintball game) then you might be the same.

"Think of it like visiting someone's home, you'll respect and live with their rules and their quirks or you simply won't visit."

I would operate the same policy if I was running a shop, do you think Tim should do differently than you?

Absolutely not, for the record I was not implying UKS in any way so get that notion out of your head. The word forum was used to represent a means of public communication, not an internet message board.

Do you think he is the only person who receives vile abuse? I've had all sorts on here from death threats to whatever you care to think of. Doesn't bother me. Best of it is, I'm a nobody in paintball, I moderate here and that's it. Do I deserve it?

You should know by now Niall, there's more than one side to any story.

No, you don't deserve it, neither does he. Or his wife. Neither do any of the moderators, organisers or ANYONE involved in running games, forums or facebook groups. It is a game. People need to get some perspective on life.

Neither do people deserve half arsed rumours served up attacking their business, which when proved to be erroneous are glossed over.
