Hello guys I am new to paintball, I have been paintballing at my local places, I am looking to get into the sport, I have £450 to spend on gear, is this enough?
Would I be able to use my own marker against others with the supplied markers?
I am 15, am I too young?
All help is welcome :)

At 15 you may not purchase, but can posess an air weapon. (I believe you cannot legally own it)

But you are welcome at paintball sites & events. All you need is a responsible adult to sign your consent form.
Some sites will have restrictions on own gunners vs rental, such as the modes you can use, mechanical only or using site air/co2 cylinders only.

Combat paintball have details on walkons here, so presumably are own gunner friendly:

A walkon is as good as the crowd that attend, but they are usually friendly. Ask about their next walkon and if you have been playing rental days then be prepared to start paying less or getting more paint for your money.

Mask: Empire E-flex (black) Bottle: Empire Pure Energy 4500psi 68ci, he says that he has cleaned it after every use, no chips or scrapes, he has greased and oiled it after every 2/3 uses and he has put 3000 paintballs through it.

Halo too - around £60 new, probably around £30 / £40 second hand
(Actually a pretty good hopper)

For the cylinder (assuming it is a 4500psi fibre one) value it at roughly:
Estimated life cost as £150 new plus 2 retests (guess around £25 a test), eg £200 total
Divide £200 by 15 and multiply by the number of years it has left to its final date
Then deduct the cost of any future tests, but adjust for what it could cost you to test
(If you have to post it to get it tested then that ramps up the cost)
Often fibre cylinders are advertised for about £80, but the depreciated value as above may differ

Empire mask depending on model and condition - always consider that you may need to buy a new lens

For the gun I am no good on pricing - value of a second hand gun compared to its new price can vary heavily depending on demand, also note there are both the LT and AM versions so the price may differ

Put up a question in the 'buying and selling advice' pages

prob cost about 160 for the bottle, mask and hopper second hand. providing good test left on bottle and fully working id say wasnt bad

makes the gun about 240. so yeah i would say it was pretty decent. but more info on the gun and bottle as above is required

if includes posting a fees aswell.
