Is there any threads any where specific to areas? Just a thought for getting to know people in your area and arranging meeting at walk ons etc

I think the closest thing is Facebook pages for specific teams

Is there scope or a call for this admin? I would like to see it, being new to paintball, would be a great thing to do to get to know some people?

The problem with sections by region is how much do you break it down? Uk country, county etc
If someone's on the border then they may be close to sites in 2 or 3 counties
Walkons tend to be monthly, and people tend to be regulars (walkons exist for the regulars, and continue if the players keep coming)
If you post up where you are then players in the area will identify sites thatrun walkons

Facebook tends to be the place to find out the latest that is going on, but you will need to know the pages of the sites near you (or their dedicated pages for walkons)

On the new player count - this is a good point for new forum member introductions - who you are, where you are from etc
The 20 post rule gives an opportunity for the new members to kick off introductions and be found by others in the area

This is true didn't really think of that, but how many active members regularly visit the newbie forum?

Division would be difficult I suppose, just a thought though!

do you already go to walkons at your local site and do any teams play there?

Yeah due to family commitment, struggle to attend walk ons as usually on a Sunday. Went to the last one and it was great, me and 2 others and the rest where part of a team so just joined in with them!

I guess a good option would be trying to join that team, that way you will be informed of current walk ons and scenarios
