Im just selling some old kayaking gear and my Rc car on ebay to fund purchasing kit - A budget of around £300(When the items sell) - What would you advise purchasing first and why

Mask first. It's the most personal bit of kit that'll you'll own. If you've ever played with a rental mask that has steamed up, you'll know how annoying and frustrating it is. Thermal lenses will pretty much eliminate the steaming up unless you're in extreme conditions for a proper length of time.

I personally favour the dye i4's, but it really is about personal preference and how you feel they fit. You can pick up some reasonably priced masks second hand that'll last you as long as you like with basic care

I love the look of the i4's but unsure if they will fit. No paintball shops in the area so awaiting my mates return from Germany so i can try them on. I also like the look of the angel mask but i have been told they fog. Anyone tried them on?

If your thinking of the Angel Eyez...they didnt come out, only ever a prototype is what i heard! i'd advise V-Force Grillz for an...unusual head shape, as they are flexable as hell and will fit pretty much everybody

I'm also just starting out, picked up some good bargains on eBay such as a brand new Dye jersey for £25, a No Fear chest and back protector for about £12, neck protector £5, gloves £5. Also got some camo trousers from an army surplus plce for £20. I might not look like I know what I'm doing, but I enjoyed it :)

If I keep playing I'll upgrade as and when.

First you realy do need to get a mask nothing is worse than using a rental mask..
And don't save money buying one without a thermal lense, it is a false economy as after using it once or twice you will belookig to upgrade due to the misting-up issues... I know this from experience.
