Is armour worth it?

I have been wondering for a while, generally first hit of the day hurts most and the rest and the rest don't hurt so much, but do you think that armour would be worth getting?

Depends really. I would recommend knee pads to any player, nothing worse than sliding into a bunker and smashing your knee off something.
Other pads are not so vital, but depending on the position you play on the field could be advisable.
Bounce vests are there more to take the sting out of the shot to increase the chance of bouncing, so if you want that advantage then go for it!

assuming this is for woodsball, if you mean the chest protectors that sites hand out then no, they are clumsy and just get in the way. however if you're the kinda guy that likes to get up in the thick of it and pull off the risky moves, then maybe consider buying a properly fitting 'bounce vest' since they provide a bit of protection but tend to breath well and don't get in the way like the rental ones do.

I've got a rhino under armour vest. Use it most times I play. It just takes the sting out of it a little when you try something crazy that invariably doesn't work and you end up lit up like a Xmas tree. Also gives the occasional bounce off which keeps you in the game longer. I say go for it.

Thanks guys, when I started out I was thinking about getting a BT chest protector, but I suppose the pain that comes with getting shot will teach me that I probably should be better at not getting shot. I'll get used to it eventually!

If it makes it hard to move around, then you've bought the wrong armour! I use an empire vest, eclipse elbow pads, and knee pads too. I simply wouldn't walk onto a field without the knee pads, and tend to go with the others as I play front and often slide or crawl on the elbows. If it's really hot, I sometimes lose the vest, but not often.
