You cant go wrong fella. I bought one of the 1st gens when they came out as a "backup marker" but found myself using it as much as my DM7. Just get yourself a barrel set when you can afford to, makes a huge difference.

thats what i have seen a load of people say plus they look the part too, they are really reasonable prices second hand

Oh okies just wondered if the increase in price for the axe was worth it compared to the price comparison of the mini

I would say so the asa alone costs 65 quid and it comes standard on the axe plus I also believe it has a better board in the axe

Makes sense I guess, im kinda new lol. Had a guy who was offerin a mini with asa switch, axe grips, new board for about 220 ish, would it b better just gettin an actual axe?

I find i prefer a micro switch to the hall effect sensor that's used on the Mini's (Axe uses micro switch). I am able to walk the trigger faster with a mechanical switch as a posed to the hall effect sensor, but this doesn't really matter at all if i'm ramping (Millenium rules). So try and actually have them in your hands when you're deciding.
